Never Satisfied

Why are some people never completely satisfied in relationships? It seems that men are more unsatisfied because they tend to cheat more than women do. Or maybe it is just that women don't get caught cheating as much (we are smarter)!! I believe that women cheat because we know that we can't have it all in one man.

What do I mean by having it all?

• Romance - candles, champagne, fireplace, sensuality
• Sexy - take care of your body and we will take care of you
  
• Intellect - interesting, worldly conversations
• Funny - good wit, humor is so attractive
• Chivalrous - hold open the door, protect us without making us feel weak
  
• Adventure - extreme sports, doing the unexpected, travel
  
• Kind - warm our hearts
• Respectful - care about what we have to say
  
• Lust - hot, uninhibited sex, ripping clothes off, passionate kisses

And many women would also say honest. But do we really want to know that we looked better in the little red dress before we gained those 5 pounds? I don't think so. Sometimes honesty is not necessarily better. Some women would also include paying the tab in the list, but with so many independent ladies out there, I have to leave that one out.

The problem with the above list is that you can't have all of those characteristics in one man. You may score a man with most of the above characteristics, but nobody can fulfill them all. Most women seek a man to provide a good home and to be a good father, but the characteristics that make a man a good provider and father usually don't include Adventure and Lust (and probably not Sexy). So women search out another to satisfy these characteristics. That is why we cheat and that is why we are never completely satisfied.
